Dr. Michael Richer was born in Farmingdale, NY and is a graduate of Farmingdale High School. Dr. Richer and his family currently live in Bethpage, NY. Dr. Richer received his Bachelors in Biology from the University of Buffalo and went on to dental school at The University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry earning his D.D.S. During his attendance at the University of Toronto, at the time it was ranked among the Top 10 Dental Schools in North America.
After graduating, Dr. Richer attended the General Practice Residency Program at Montefiore Medical Center where he met his wife Dr. Nadia Rivera. In 2009, Dr. Richer and Dr. Rivera decided to open their own state-of-the-art cosmetic and family dental practice at R and R Dental, where they provide a modern, friendly and comfortable atmosphere for all patients.
Dr. Richer is a preferred provider of Invisalign and enjoys continuing education in cosmetic dentistry, Invisalign and CEREC Digital Dentistry or CAD/CAM Dentistry which is an integral part of R and R Dental’s state-of-the-art treatment. Dr. Richer is also a member of the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), and the Long Island Dental Study Club. Dr. Michael Richer enjoys mountain biking, backpacking and of course playing with his daughter Alina.
